So Much for Iranian "Moderation"

Former Iranian president Khatami, who will be visiting the US and hobnobbing with Jimmy Carter, has blamed terrorism on US foreign policy, and denounced "war mongering against Islam and Islamophobia."

Note that Khatami is nonetheless described as a "reformist" president, despite the absence of any evidence that he, in fact, reformed anything. It's quite remarkable that this is what passes for "moderation" in Iran, and that the US is allowing someone with views like Khatamis to wander our country as a guest.
