Chalk One Up For Missile Defense

It passed an important test. Now, the question is why there isn't already a missile shield protecting the United States.

One successful test is a good thing, but several are needed to be successful before giving the green light. I am hopeful however, and eager to see it succeed.

This is the first successful test following two prior tests that were abject failures. Carol is happy to spend untold billions on a high tech pipedream that fails 2/3 of the time.

Wasting billions on an illusion. How completely Republican.

twisted is a fool. Tests are meant to work out the kinks. There are typically failures with any new technology and money spent to perfect it is part of the deal. But as a looney lefty, twist&shout would likely prefer money spent on a "Dept of Peace", rather than something that would intercept a missle sent toward his countrymen. Nice guy.

A few days ago, MT's position was that only "the latest" [poll} information counted. Previous [poll] results mattered not a whit. But MT now says only previous antimissile test results are acceptable. The latest shoot-down means nothing.

Were leftists really against spending billions on unsuccessful endeavors, Americans might have been spared the trillions spent on the LBJ's "war on poverty."

Squandering trillions on socialism, but decrying defense spending. How utterly liberal.
