Fitzmas Officially Cancelled
Even the Washington Post acknowledges that the Plame affair has gone out -- not with a bang, but with a whimper.
Perhaps its biggest effect has been to sully the reputations of (1) the dishonorable Richard Armitage, who refused to identify himself as the initial source, thus costing his colleagues in The White House months of distraction, abuse, and tons of money and (2) Patrick Fitzgerald, who knew long ago that no underlying crime had been committed, but continued to pursue Rove and Libby -- and who prosecuted Libby for the same kind of memory lapses that Armitage (who likewise "forgot" and confused conversations) displayed without penalty.

The left isn't finished with this non-story. They're intent on finding someone in this admin to convict. Anyone will do.
