It's All Politics

Remember all those far-left fantasies about the talking points that Karl Rove was supposedly faxing around America to all the conservative pundits and radio talk show hosts?

Could it have been projection in reverse? The New York Times is reporting that anti-war groups conduct a conference call every morning with the leadership of the Democratic Party. Some way for Democrats to decide how they should handle the country's national security issues, isn't it? And from the linked piece, it doesn't sound like the groups are at all hesitant to threaten the Democrats in order to make them toe the surrender party line.

No wonder Nancy Pelosi is telling Democrats they must vote the party line on the war in order to maintain their majority.

The whole sorry episode really gives you a sense of the Democrats' lack of seriousness when it comes to fighting the war on terror -- or, more accurately, waving the white flag in the war on terror.

The Dems are living in a 9/10 world and do not see any need to change.

I've never been more ashamed of an American Institution than I am right now of the Democratic Party!

They are openly willing to surrender the lives of millions of Iraqis who are desperately trying to change their country for the better.

Why?

Simply as a political tool to win the White House!

Nothing could be more pathetic.

This is amazing. Politically I consider myself a JFK-Democrat and Liberal. However today that makes me a Moderate Republican.

I don't think I've changed. I wonder who has?
