Hardly a Threat
Terry McAuliffe is lambasting John Kerry for political malpractice in his 2004 presidential campaign.
Some are tempted to speculate that his criticism is designed to blunt support for a potential rival to Hillary. Please. Why would he waste his time, when no sensible person can imagine that Kerry will pose any kind of a threat?

In their dealings with previous potential threats, the Clintons have not been willing just to discredit or punish their opponents, they make every effort to destroy them. McAuliffe's book is only the first step. Carville, Begala, Lewis & Co. are no doubt working on more dirt for use against Edwards, Obama, Biden and possible GOP candidates.
