More Democratic Obstruction
The Democrats are working hard to prevent any nominations from being reported from the Judiciary Committee. Unfortunately, it seems the Republicans are inadvertantly helping them.

Is this any worse than the blue slip rule that Orrin Hack used to single-handedly kill Clinton nominees that squared so nicely (not) with the spirit of the Constitution he demanded from Democrats last year? You remember, when the lack of appointments caused the "crisis in the courts," as the Republicans called it when Bush took office with empty benches all over the country?

I don't blame the Dems, I blame the Republicans for not forcing the matter down their throats.
The whole matter is disgusting.
By the way, Duke, your example is a little misleading.
Clinton was blocked by a MAJORITY party........Bush is being blocked by a MINORITY party.
That said, I return to my original comment.......The Republicans are the ones screwing this up, not the Democrats.
And the lack of objectivity.
