Carol Platt Liebau: Let's Ask the Dems

Let's Ask the Dems

According to this piece, we lost the opportunity to take out numerous Taliban leaders because our rules of engagement prevent launching attacks in cemeteries.

Although this is a fine rule in general, it seems that there should be enough flexibility to waive these standards in unique circumstances. But because Democrats seem on the one hand to demand immediate and decisive victory and on the other object to many ways that might actually be achieved, let's ask what they think: Should an attack be allowed in any circumstance in a cemetery?

Oh, sure Carol. You have our permission to blast away. Thanks for asking.

I'm sure that's what let bin Laden get away: our hesitance to bomb a cemetery. Are there a lot of those in Tora Bora?

Cliff, your breathlessness indicates that you are an amateur. Try sticking to sites whose readers rely on all caps and a dozen exclamation points to convey their otherwise empty thoughts. And like Larson suggested, wipe up your spittle.

Returning to the original post, I think it is worth noting that even when it is a Republican commander-in-chief that declines to sign off on an attack that supposedly would have killed off Taliban leaders, Carol's dowsing rod of blame still points left.

You see, it's stuck in that position, a sure sign of her lack of objectivity, not that we've been short on evidence. And when someone lacks objectivity and instead relies on all manner of acrobatic reasoning to arrive at the desired conclusion, there is only one explanation.

I distinctly hear a hacking cough coming from California.

All those words and no intelligent answer to the question posed by Carol. Just potshots at Carol by duke and the usual drooling drivel by eddy-boy. So why don't you kids just try a real response for a change? Here's the scenario again: several scumbag leaders attending a funeral. Do we bomb them or don't we?

Here's my answer: No. A sniper or two maybe, but no bombs. Even then, the blowback from the Muslims would be difficult to counter. However, waiting until after and getting them once they've driven a couple of miles away, then send the drones. I don't mean eddy, I mean those remote control planes.

My best money says UBL is dead.

That's seems as likely as not, given bin Laden's pronouncements are all audio-only, or stock footage from the Qaedawood video archives. Zawahiri's done all the talking lately.
