Jean, this is Carol's blog, she can post whatever she wants, go and don't care at your own blog, this one is not yours or mine, be respectful. Also, what do you know about what is going on in Iraq? Are you there? Do you have relatives? No? Just watching the news ey? Well, again, I will repeat your words back to you: After spending time with people in the middle east, after going through my own husband's deployment to the area, I do not care about you caring about anyone over there. I am sure the Shi'ite's thank you for your concern over them, but I am equally sure they are thrilled that at least they are no longer being torchered, at least their relatives are no longer dissappearing in the middle of the night, at least they do not have to fear being raped by Sadam's sons, because they are two of the "100" a day you are refering to. Until you have spent a month in their shoes, I do not care about you mock concern for them.

I read Mr Sammon's book, Misunderestimated. It was pretty good. Mr. Sammon seems to really like our President. Although I agree with him most of the time, I wonder if he is just and edditorialist. I think that people who do the news should not be clear on where they stand. I think Brit Hume is a fair example, although I have not seen him for a while. I never knew quite where he stood, other than that he stood in strong defense of FOX News. I only have one channel out here, so I do not get to watch much news on TV anymore.
