Deja Vu All Over Again

A Kennedy male drinks, drives, crashes and receives special treatment from the authorities.

Haven't we been there before?

Well, at least this time, no one was killed. Let's be thankful for small favors.

But you were just fine with the Vice President drinking, shooting a guy in the face with a shotgun, and receiving special treatment from the authorities.

Thanx for clearing that up, oh pillar of hypocrisy.

James Carville and Paul Begala, plus David Gregory and the White House press corps, now have their opportunity to demonstrate their non-bias, by raging at his press secretary demanding to know why Rep. Kennedy wasn't immediately given a breathalyzer test, why he wasn't taken immediately to a police office to report the incident, then looking up every instance of his previous run-ins with the law, including drinking and trashing rented yachts. Kinda like they did when VP Cheney made the news, ya' know? Just to show their fondness for treating everyone equally, mind you.

The only thing true about what twister said is that Cheney shot the guy. Thank you for muddying that up, oh blind, and deaf boy (too bad you aren't dumb).

Patrick Kennedy needs help. He's heading for a bad end the way he's going.

I said Dick Cheney was drinking prior to the shooting--a fact that even he admitted to.

I said Dick Cheney shot a guy in the face with a shotgun--a fact that even you agree with.

When the Sheriff's deputy went out to talk to Dick Cheney that evening, the Secret Service told him to come back in the morning--yet another fact that is agreed to.

If you think that a police officer putting off investigating a hunting accident overnight is not special treatment you must be living on a different planet.

It's hard to see where I'm not three for three on my statements.

Dodger wrote, Cheney broke no law, as Mr Kennedy likely did."

Hey Dodger, just ask your mythical 60% of hunter's who have either been shot in the face or shot someone in the face about the following scenario.

Hunter A is seen drinking at lunch. Later that afternoon hunter A shoots hunter B in the face with a shotgun, critically injuring him. Rather than go to the hospital with his injured friend, hunter A goes back to the ranch and immediately has a couple of stiff drinks. Later that evening a deputy comes out to question hunter A about the accident and the deputy is told to come back the next morning by hunter A's bodyguards.

After laying out the details ask your hunting buddies whether or not they think it is likely that hunter A committed a crime.
