Carol Platt Liebau: Release the Tapes

Release the Tapes

The Dems had better make national security hay while the sun shines, for here's a piece noting that untranslated tapes and documents exist that suggest that Saddam was intending to rebuild his stocks of WMD (and seeking to obtain uranium from Niger for that purpose) and that he may have decided to use a "proxy" to attack the United States.

If the translated tapes and documents indeed corroborate the claims of the Bush Administration, it will be interesting to see what the Democrats and the MSM do about it.

Carol writes, "...Saddam was intending to rebuild his stocks of WMD..."

But Carol, you told us here, and here, and here, and here, and here that Saddam had WMD stockpiles.

If Saddam already had WMD, what was he seeking to rebuild?

Oops, sorry--I forgot that Carol does not hold consistency in high regard.

re-build: 1. to repair, esp. by dismantling and reassembling with new parts. 2. to revise, reshape or reorganize. 3. to build again or afresh. ((From, "The Random House Dictionary of the English Language.")

Oops, sorry, I forgot to forget that some leftists like to use only their definitions of things.
