Great Man, Great Time!
Had a ball today at the Reagan Library -- where Chief Justice John Roberts made his first public address since taking the helm at the Supreme Court.
He is everything that he seemed to be during the hearings: Charming, self-effacing, funny and very, very smart. Following that, we were lucky enough to have a wonderful dinner in the private quarters of the library . . . a treat from start to finish.
Everything I heard and saw today makes me profoundly grateful that John Roberts is now the Chief Justice of the United States.

Sound like the Chief will annoy all the right people.
No. He'll probably be logical, clear and charming in all he does.
And that will annoy them.
You move in some fast company, Carol! I'm glad you liked Justice Roberts, and that you found him to be as advertised.
