Been There, Done That

Once again, The New York Times "reports" (with no small amount of glee, doubtless) that a UN report is tagging Japan and the United States as the "least generous" donors (one might wonder if the UN didn't have some problems of its own a little closer to home).

We went through this silly debate before, back in the wake of the tsunami. At the time, Debra Saunders produced this invaluable piece, setting forth the details of the incredible generosity of the American people.
