Hopefully Al will be back soon so we can stop hearing your nauseatingly knee-jerk apologia for the Bush administration. As Andrew Sullivan accurately points out on his blog today, the Bush administration's own National Safety Plan asserts the federal government's primary responsibility in a case of massive natural disaster!
Do you really believe that as late as Thursday, "Brownie" was unaware that there were people at the convention center. He's either lying or incompetent!
And how can you seriously defend the President's confidence in "Brownie"? Just another example of a crony of the President getting a job that he was incapable of handling. Shouldn't Bush be held accountable for this appointment at least???
The list of right of center pundits and politicians that have accurately labeled this situation a NATIONAL disgrace grows by the day. And last I checked Bush was in charge of the nation.
