Amazingly Un-just

Check out this piece in The Washington Post about "Justice Sunday."

Note that every effort has been made to send subtly negative messages about the event. There is, for example, the obligatory reference to the "2,200 mostly white people in Two Rivers Baptist Church." [emphasis added]. Ask yourself: Why is the race of the attendees included? Subtext: These people are racist.

And accompanying the piece, at least online, is a picture of -- gasp! -- Rep. Tom DeLay. Subtext: These people are extreme.

There have been many, many rallies held by people like Jesse Jackson at predominantly African-American churches across this country, for largely political effect. Wonder why The Post doesn't cover them with a similarly jaundiced eye?
