I have to argue with you on one small point; the Dems didn't choose the person they felt was most qualified for the job. Her sex was a key reason for choosing her as both majority leader and Speaker. It would be nice if Dems could look beyond sex but they remain incapable for the most part. Style remains far more importance than substance still, IMHO.
