The First Lady offered a much-needed reminder that the entire world is watching how the U.S. talks about Iraq.
It's a point that can't be made often enough. 9/11 came about in part because Osama bin Laden and his Islamofascist friends decided that America and the West had grown weak, decadent and unable to tolerate casualties even for the sake of freedom.
With the way the Democrats are discussing Iraq -- like they can't cut 'n run fast enough -- they are living down to bin Laden's expectations. And even if Osama is now out of the loop, others are listening to the hyterical denunciations of President Bush and the Iraq war, watching to see how the American people will vote, and deciding whether bin Laden was right, after all.
