Lots O' Questions

Judging from this story, sounds like Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid has some 'splaining to do.

The facts -- about a complicated land deal -- take some time to absorb, but the question is: Did Harry Reid properly disclose his interests, as required by law and ethics; and how, exactly, did he come to make a 1.1 million windfall from land he hadn't owned in three years?

Hypocrisy, thy name is Harry Reid.

This is not hypocrisy; it is fraud and bribery.

This situation resembles the futures deals the Clintons got into in Arkansas. Someone wanting to buy influence papers a deal so that if it goes really well, he can claim the politician has been a co-investor entitled to a big chink of the profits. If the deal tanks, the papers are conveniently lost.

Carol, being a Dem means Harry Reid does not need to worrry about some 'splaining to do. Dems get elected then get rich.

It sounded like a tax-dodge to me. Good for Harry. Now if only advocate for lower taxes for everyone else, too.

If the name of the LLC had been "Macaca", the WashingPost would be all over this.
