copioneer - I don't think the left-wing elites can take sides with the West. It would put them in some kind of fetal position trying to reconcile all their prior years of decrying the evils of Western, liberal culture.

good point elarson, but they are already in a fetal position when it comes to foreign policy.
And of course they only decry the evils, that aren't actually evil, and applaud evils like homosexual activity with children.
I'm still waiting for "editor" aka "dhead" to decry the outrageous unethical behavior of the main stream press.
