An Interesting Perspective on "Life"

Here's a piece from a grown up baby who was almost aborted.

It's funny -- when you read "expert" sites advising young people that abortion is "safe," -- well, they're obviously talking about only one of the lives involved.

The left only wants perfect human beings for their hippie farm.

again the left is out of touch with REALITY.

Just let them refute this TRUTH in questioning:
Is an abortion fatal to the baby?

If those women would take responsibility for their actions they wouldn't be seeking an abortion anywhere. More proof that the liberals and Democrats are the party of NO RESPONSIBILITY and VICTIMHOOD. "What? Oh you mean having sex can produce a BABY?! OMG!" Maybe they better listen to Sharon Stone.

How incredibly assinine! Bush is a baby killer because of what someone else does with the embryos they created? Where do you get such great weed?

Bush has done a great thing by blocking fed funding for research that has produced nothing, meaning results of any kind that attract investor capital. He realizes that people like me don't believe in killing people for research purposes no matter how old or what size they are, and that people like me wouldn't appreciate our money spent on such things. The crap-for-brains governor of my state of Illinois doesn't have such considerations. This decision by Bush does NOT in ANY WAY force anyone else to destroy those frozen embryos. But of course, it's so easy and convenient to lay it at Bush's feet since everything's his fault anyway. What crap! Keep them frozen until they've all been adopted, and stop the procedures that brought them into being. Such fertility techniques were wrong to begin with for just this reason, and intelligent leaders said so when it began.

A recent Ellen Goodman column (see Chgo Sun-Times archives from last week or so) ragged on about restrictions for new morning after pill. Gotta be over 18 to get it over the counter. No perscription for drug that is birth control pill of twice the potency. Scrip for birth control, none for morning after. Of course, they don't want a scrip for birth control either. "But it prevents unwanted pregnancies!" Only if you count as pregnancy an embryo attached to the uterine wall. Pregnancy begins at fertilization if you're an objective student of basic biology and not a lefty enabler of the weak willed and undisciplined. How's THAT fact for ya? (Don't bother with the rape and incest angle unless you're willing to give up the 99+% who abort by choice.)

Instead of bringing back the back alley abortions of the olden days, how about bringing back honor, discipline, morals, compassion, good parenting, good guidance?

eddy-boy,

Your logic is, well, illogical.

eddy,

Please provide support for your claim that Bush OK's corporate killings of any kind. The subject was the use of federal funds for embryonic research. Those you believe help make your sorry point are private companies who are within the law and thus George can't tell them anything. We're consistent in that we'd prefer he not try to force private businesses in any way outside of established law. Until there are no more idiot libs in government pretending that life begins at some convenient time after fertilization, perhaps legislation will regulate fertilization practices. Until then, George will act where he can make a difference. You'd make a difference by stuffing a sock in it.

ed,

Where have I said either? I don't recall saying Bush is above the law, though I have countered your claims that he thinks he is. Pay attention.

Where have I said that the GOP in congress have no power? On issues that require only a simple majority, they do fine. There are some Republicans who are liberal on certain issues. That plays a part as well. The GOP has power, but not ultimate power. ONce again, pay attention. Your ignorance is showing. -snipe snipe-
