Good News for the GOP
A new Gallup poll places Democrats only two points ahead of Republicans on a generic ballot. And, mind you, that's in just a poll of registered voters -- not likely ones.

George Allen's 'Macaca' name calling is likely motivating the base of rednecks and delusional religious fanatics, such as neo-nazis.
George Allen will be the next president of the United States.
It's one thing for the general population to make racial remarks, it's not against the law to be stupid. But when it's somebody in our government that's a lawmaker, and can literally change your way of life over night, then we're talking about something different. Racists have absolutely no business participating in our government, I don't care if their Republican or Democrat, they should all go.
Bye-bye Allen your political career is over.
"Generic Democrat" has never done anything to tick off, nor inspire the electorate.
Neither has "Generic Republican".
Polls like that are not particularly useful, except perhaps, to help the parties raise more funds from their flocks.
