Another Steele Must-Read

One seriously has to question this author because all he has done is use his same theory of "White Guilt" and replace Black Americans with Islamic Terrorists.

Editor: would you say that he's getting uppity?
If Steele is "obviously" kissing up to power, then it should be easy for editor to demonstrate how.
Also, the fact that Steele applies his theory of white guilt not only to racism but to islamofascism does not necessarily make this application wrong.
One seriously has to question the bases on which editor makes his assertions. Is he obviously kissing up to (leftist) power?
All one has to do is listen to what terrorists say their fighting cause is, instead of believing the Prez who states they hate our freedom.

Since terrorists have been attacking US interests for 25-odd years, please include dates for your citations, as well as the specific group (unless you consider the terrorists to be an undifferentiated mass with the same motivation).

is a very well educated man, I would think long and hard before offering such a thoughtless critique.

But he clearly is not making sense. We know for a fact that terroristic tactics, extremism and radicalization stems from oppression and/or recipients of violence on a monumental scale.
We know what is going on here because American Revolutionaries were called terrorists by King George III.

I looked at your citation, which was an old State Department list of terorrist organizations that failed to mention al Qaeda.
There were no quotes from the terrorists organizations, even though you wrote that "[a]ll one has to do is listen to what terrorists say their fighting cause is, instead of believing the Prez who states they hate our freedom".

I don't know this for a fact. Neither does Steele. Nor have you tried to prove this assertion.
Finally, why and how is what George III called American revolutionairies (citation please) relevant to the present case? Why should the mad king of England in the 18th century be a more reliable source that the current President of the United States?

I know it seems like fun at first, Cliff. But when you try to debate an idiot, eventually you end up frustrated from their inability to make sense. For example, he doesn't understand that Steele's theory doesn't necessarily refer to only white guilt over blacks exclusively, but minorities of all kinds. The whites with guilt, mostly libs, but some cons as well, weigh their words and actions in dealing with any non-white group. They're afraid of offending anyone to the point of crippling themselves. And such deep thinking (only half-way down to the basement, really) is way beyond eddy's capacity to fathom. So give it up and just mock him as I do. Eventually, we'll have an intelligent lib (they do exist you know) who will comment here and pose a real challenge.
