'Bout Time

It's only taken five years, but CNN intends to rerun its coverage of 9/11 to mark the attack's anniversary.

Anyone who isn't sure who we're fighting in Iraq and across the world and why should tune in to receive a refresher course on the kind of destruction that emboldened Islamofascists can wreak.

I read that piece and it's right on the money.

As disgusting as it is to witness, I once again refer to the lefties to view one of the beheading videos posted at Michael Savage's site. I viewed one. More was unnecessary to put into sharp focus the level of evil and socio-pathic malevolence that is the enemy we face. I'm not a Savage fan, but I have to thank him for understanding the gravity of the situation.

Cliff,

Those "facts" are ignored because they are not true. Saddam had no control over kurdistan after 1995. In that year many terrorists welcomed by the PKK, the communist PKK, which the USA supports because of oil in Mosul plain, flooded into the north.

Please talk only of what you know! Center of Middle Eastern terrorism? Iraq? not even now. I would accept Syrai or even Yemen in the last 10 years but not Iraq sir. iraq is about Bechtel and Halliburton and oil for you cars and homes and plastic things. it is about America breaking the backs of lesser nations by providing development aid sending companies in to build huge dams and other massive engineering projects and securing loans for these poor countries that cannot ever pay them back. Where does most of that World Bank money end up? In the pockets of Shaw, Bechtel, Halliburton, Fluor, and the like. It is only the nations of OPEC that stand up to America and they have her by the throat.

Imagine a scenario where Iran is attacked by the USA and the rest of the OEC nations including the Saudis decide to embargo oil again. Can you say $10 a gallon. And you cannot nuke the oil fields that would be suicide. So who wins in this scenario Cliff my friend?

I say no one wins.

C.E.
