'Bout Time

It's only taken five years, but CNN intends to rerun its coverage of 9/11 to mark the attack's anniversary.

Anyone who isn't sure who we're fighting in Iraq and across the world and why should tune in to receive a refresher course on the kind of destruction that emboldened Islamofascists can wreak.

From 8/21/06 Presidential press conference.

Q What did Iraq have to do with that?

THE PRESIDENT: What did Iraq have to do with what?

Q The attack on the World Trade Center?

Correct! Iraq was the center of Mid East terrorism, that's why we took out Saddam. He sponsored terrorists by providing training, equipment, funding and a safe haven for them. He also was ACTIVELY seeking WMD's including urainium!
But we told you these things many times in the past and still you ignore those facts, why?

McCain says President Bush told the American people Iraq would be a cake walk. The press reports McCains claim. The press knows McCains claim is wrong. Why do they a) report McCain's claim and/or b) not challenge him?

Answer: probably because by reporting McCain's comments we are able to see what an opportunist McCain is, namely his own words taint him.

As to the challenge thing, I note that when President Bush says something the press disagrees with they immediately counter with, "however, this from Democrat Congressman blah blah who says...."

Islamofascists don't intend to just kill Republicans. They intend to kill everyone. I think America gets that part of it. Its just what to do about it that divides us.

I read a good column a while back, there are sheep, guard dogs, and wolves. You get the drift, right?

Its easy to huddle like sheep, knowing the guard dogs will protect you. What distinguishes the sheep on the left these days is that they open the gate so the wolf can get in.

I read that piece and it's right on the money.

As disgusting as it is to witness, I once again refer to the lefties to view one of the beheading videos posted at Michael Savage's site. I viewed one. More was unnecessary to put into sharp focus the level of evil and socio-pathic malevolence that is the enemy we face. I'm not a Savage fan, but I have to thank him for understanding the gravity of the situation.

Apropos of the visual of beheadings, a friend of mine is a government trapper. He stopped by for a visit and mentioned he had just shot a coyote. Had it in the back of his truck. We went to look and could see that he had gutted it and it had been pregnant. He noticed our look of and said, here are some pictures that show what they do. Laid out in a row were sixty small sheep, all gutted out. He said, that's what they do, they gut 'em and then just leave 'em. This is just one rancher. I see it every day in other fields.

This is the world as terrorists see it. Not a pretty sight.

Those "facts" are ignored because they are not true. Saddam had no control over kurdistan after 1995. In that year many terrorists welcomed by the PKK, the communist PKK, which the USA supports because of oil in Mosul plain, flooded into the north.

Please talk only of what you know! Center of Middle Eastern terrorism? Iraq? not even now. I would accept Syrai or even Yemen in the last 10 years but not Iraq sir. iraq is about Bechtel and Halliburton and oil for you cars and homes and plastic things. it is about America breaking the backs of lesser nations by providing development aid sending companies in to build huge dams and other massive engineering projects and securing loans for these poor countries that cannot ever pay them back. Where does most of that World Bank money end up? In the pockets of Shaw, Bechtel, Halliburton, Fluor, and the like. It is only the nations of OPEC that stand up to America and they have her by the throat.

Imagine a scenario where Iran is attacked by the USA and the rest of the OEC nations including the Saudis decide to embargo oil again. Can you say $10 a gallon. And you cannot nuke the oil fields that would be suicide. So who wins in this scenario Cliff my friend?

I say no one wins.
