What the NAACP Should Have Heard II

I pointed out on Thursdaythat President Bush's speech to the NAACP left something to be desired.

Gateway Pundit lays out chapter and verse some of the stats that the President should have used. (HT: The Anchoress.)

Bush was just trying to swing for a single.

Also, remember that Bush was like a Coca-Cola representative at a Pepsi convention.

The NAACP is in the failure business. Its members make their livings from all of the accessories that come with it: government programs, new bureaucracies, quotas, sensitivity training, set-asides, self-pity and excuses.

There is little point to trying to sell success accessories to members of the failure industry. Such accessories to success include: family, education, hard work, home ownership, entrepreneurship and accountability.

Excellent post, Wile E Coyote!

Do you mind if I borrow some of your phrasings?
