A Day of Carnage in India

147 people were killed in a terrorist attack in India. It's a vivid reminder -- as if one were needed -- that Al Qaeda remains determined to murder and destroy wherever and whenever possible.

If (or when) an attack happens in the USA, what will The New York Times say -- given that it's played a key role in handing over information to the kind of terrorists who wreaked hacov today?

Did Al Queda do it? I heard a news report which says that it probably wasn't them.

It's also a vivid reminder of how successful the Bush Administration has been at protecting American citizens since Septermber, 2001.

Terrorists may yet succeed in attacking us again on our home soil. But even if that occurs, Bush deserves credit for the work he has done so far.

I hardly see how that is a logical position Greg. Sounds like Elephant powder to me.

Please excuse my ignorance. But I don't know what you mean by "Elephant powder".

The logic is this:

1. The United States is the number one target of nearly every Islamic Terrorist group or individual.

2. It's been nearly 5 years since their last successful attack on U.S. soil.

3. Yet they are able to execute attacks in other countries.

4. U.S. defenses against terrorist attack have been successful.

5. George Bush is the Commander In Chief responsible for U.S. defense against terrorists.

6. George Bush deserves credit for successfully thwarting those who wish to attack us on our own soil again.
