Interestingly, the article was first published in Spring of 2002. Obviously, written before that and before Bush's invasion of Iraq and all of his abuses of power.
Thanks, Ditto, for revealing your disgust with America. But, frankly, we already knew.
Greg,Nah, it's the 29 percenters that are filled with hatred, and condone mass killing of innocent people in Afanganistan & Iraq and torute, secret prison, don't care about the sick, the poor and the disadvantaged, enable presidential abuse of power, etc.The majority of Americans are wonderful, kind and caring people. BushCo and his followers just give America a very bad name and image.
Mr. D'Souza reiterated many of his points in National Review (see HERE) on July 2, 2003, after Operation Iraqi Freedom was well under way, so his opinons had obviously not changed.
I feel so much better about Bush's torture policies now. Thanks so much.
One of the great things about America is that we're free not to read pompous windbags explaining why torture is good. Thanks for making me love my country even more!Oh, and sorry I couldn't do the 5k. I did it a couple of times when I started running, and it was great. But my podiatrist will not allow me to run until my broken foot bone is completely healed, so I've had to bail on several races. See you there next year!
Hope your foot heals 100%, Wrabkin.
