Good For Bolton

It's been long too long that the UN has been able to mistreat, disparage and ridicule the United States without result. Good for Josh Bolton for telling the UN that we will withhold funding if an apology isn't forthcoming for the arrogant and condescending remarks made by Kofi Annan's #2 several days ago.

'Bout time some consequences follow UN behavior.

I think you mean John Bolton. Josh Bolton is White House COS. John Bolton is the UN ambassador. Two distinct junkyard dogs.

We have Bush to thank for the mess Bolton is causing. I seriously doubt Congress would have confirmed him. Hopely come January, he will be gone. We certainly do not need a Necon pretending to be an ambassador.

What mess has Bolten caused?

I'm all for the U.S. Ambassador standing up for U.S. interests. What else should he be doing?

There is a psychological behaviour called "projection" - it basically means you project what is bad about yourself onto the object you are attacking.

It's the other way around - the US has been mistreating, disparaging and ridiculing the United Nations... and by connection the rest of the world.

One thing is certain, there's more chance that the United States will invade some country in the world as part of some high up conspiracy than it is for the UN to invade America.

Personally I am hoping that the UN will kick the US out.

Imagine a trade embargo on the US. That'd be fun.

I don't like that dead thing he wears on his head or his Captain Kangeroo mustache.

The mess Bolton helped create is Iraq with his dead wrong intelligence. The problem is that Bolton wrongly thought that he had better judgment than his own intel analysts.

If Bush ever held anyone, including himself, accountable for crappy work, Bolton should be retired from public service.

The UN has not been hard on the US considering Bush illegally invaded Iraq.

Hey Rover,

You lefty's are pretty much all the same. Stick to the subject at hand and quit turning everything into your ignorant, old, invented, Bush hating.

And salient, being so effing ugly I would have thought God would have granted you some sense. Guess not.
Yes, everyone knows what projection is...run along now.

Anyone who would defend the U.N. is also in favor of pissing in the wind. Anyone who would defend their second-in-command's comments is probably not an American.

And you "righties" are the same as well, getting madder and madder as you see the wrong side of history coming your way. Go ahead and burst that blood vessel already.

Whatfur,

Stop foaming at the mouth. Since you have nothing of intelligence to add to the discussion, go away.

Wahtfur,

You sound like a Neocon in your last throes. Follow your commander and go AWOL. Carol already gave warning about insulting others and denigration yourself.

In ten years, China's GDP will surpass the US and they'll have twelve times as many people. Europe's GPD will surpass the US's and they'll have twice the amount of people.

The Necon idea that the US can be a rogue nation and should destroy the UN is just plain stupid and crazy.

You mean trying to break up the status quo?

The UN has been a mess for years. Bolton's the one trying to shine a little light on what's been going on in that den of corruption.

Frankly I wouldn't feel hurt if Bush didn't nominate anyone to take over for Bolton when the time comes.
