Amusingly Acerbic
Andrea Peyser writes an entertaining account of a Ted Kennedy book-promotion event with little children -- focusing on the irony of the Prince of Chappaquiddick having a dog named "Splash."
. . . advocating American political and religious liberty, free enterprise, limited government, military strength and traditional values.

And this has to do with what? Did she flee the scene of the accident and only report it many hours later? No, Laura and Judy were taken from the scene to the hospital themselves.
Now if Laura Bush had gone around naming her dog "Crash", there might be some reason to question her integrity.
Please, go back to some left wing nuthead blog.
Carol,
I share your politics and morals, not Ted Kennedy’s, but does it really accomplish anything to bring up Chappaquiddick almost forty years after it happened, when Kennedy is simply reading a book to some children?
Carol calls Ted Kennedy the Prince of Chappaquiddick.
The next time you mount your high horse to bemoan the terrible lack of civility and negative tone of the commentors on your blog--you may want to remember that the fish rots from the head down.
Lq asks, but does it really accomplish anything to bring up Chappaquiddick almost forty years after it happened, when Kennedy is simply reading a book to some children?
Yes, LQ, cheap shotting Ted Kennedy allows Carol to maintain her false sense of moral superiority. Carol's goal is not civilized public discourse--it is to demonize the people that hold different political views.
Like all members of the wingnut contingent, Carol knows that the far right wing ideas stand no chance on their own in the market place of ideas. The only way they can hope to achieve their fringe agenda is by lying, vituperation and demonization of their opponents.
CoPioneer the Dimmer asked, "And this has to do with what?"
It has to do with the fact that every time Carol writes about Ted Kennedy she tosses in something about Chappiquiddick, but no one on the progressive side calls Mrs. Bush "State High 349" Laura.
It's just a constant reminder of Carol's complete and utter lack of class despite her law school diploma and her San Marino address.
Given that there is no statute of limitation for murder, do you feel that Kennedy should be brought in?
