I wonder if there is any timetable that links action taken on behalf of Indian Tribes by Reid to donations by Indian Tribes to Reid.
By the way, does Howard Dean know about this?
The Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee writes some talking points smearing Harry Reid, and the Las Vegas Review Journal (the Washington Times of Nevada) quotes the RSCC bit directly. Voila, Carol has a headline to quote rather than letting everyone know that nothing more than a Republican hit piece. It's a nice job if you can get it.
OK, let's go through the four tribes mentioned in the piece, and look at their pre- and post-Abramoff giving to both parties.
Total (break down below):
Pre-Abramoff GOP: $460,450
Post-Abramoff GOP $1,671,827
Pre-Abramoff Dem: $748,100
Post-Abramoff Dem: $711,733
So for the tribes mentioned, giving to Dems decreased by 5% or so and the GOP donations increased 400% in the Abramoff era.

Greg, as far as time tables go, I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that tribal giving to Harry Reid increased markedly once he became the Senate Minority leader.
As demonstrated by tribal giving to parties pre- and post-Abramoff, the Abramoff scandal is purely a Republican one.
