Understanding the Blessing of Freedom

Funny how those who have lived under totalitarian regimes can appreciate the blessings of freedom more than many of those who've never lived without it.

Funny how those who have never had to fight for their rights as a woman are always the ones so contemptuous of the feminist movement.

And what experience do YOU have fighting for a woman's rights, duke?

As one who is not contemptuous of (or threatened by) the feminist movement, the fact that I have no experience fighting for women's rights is beside the point.

There are logic classes taught at your community college that will help you understand.

Recommend a good conservative professor, and maybe I will. But then, I really don't need to, because my beautiful wife has been on both sides of the issue and has clarified it for me.

If you don't understand, she began on the left, saw thru the bogus agruments, and joined the right. Very intelligent woman!

What you are describing, Pete, regarding your wife's "conversion" is known as the Stockholm syndrome.

What I am describing, duke, is my wife's seeing thru the lies of the left and refuting them!

Fortunately, when we went to school, common sense was still taught, God was still in school, and facts were more important than emotions. She still bought into the "warm and fuzzy" emotionalism while in her early 20's, that you profess, - then used her good sense to reason things out and left the Left!

Some day, when you grow up, you may see the light and join a more conservative group.
