Chastity: The Lost Virtue

Witness another breathless article, this time from the Las Vegas Sun, about the Elizabeth Anscombe Society at Princeton University (written about previously on this site here).

How sad. How sad that chastity is such a rarity, and an anomoly, on college campuses that students have to form a "support group" devoted to it. How sad that, in doing so, they are treated as curiosities. And how sad that the following explanation, from a member of the group, is even necessary: "'It's not like we don't dance or have fun,' she said."

Have things really gotten to the point where premarital chastity is actually associated with opposition to fun?
