Stealing Ground Zero

Debra Burlingame, sister of pilot "Chic" Burlingame who was lost on 9/11, has alerted us all that the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation is planning a "monument" to the heroes of September 11 that is intended to focus -- not on their sacrifice -- but on America's "shortcomings."

How wrong -- and how disrespectful both to the heroes and to the good people of America, all of whom mourn the losses of that tragic day.

This cannot stand.
