What a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites. Now, Amnesty International "isn't sure" about its outrageous allegation that Guantanamo Bay is the "gulag" of our times.

That, at least, is a hat tip to reality. Over 28,000 interrogation sessions conducted -- with ten instances of wrongdoing alleged, five confirmed.

Of course, even one instance of mistreatment is wrong -- but having a few rogue actors doesn't a "gulag" make. Maybe if Amnesty International were paying closer attention to countries that need closer attention (think North Korea), the mealy-mouthed anti-American propagandists who are ruining the organization's reputation would understand what real gulags look like.
