Before It's Too Late

An Arkansas evangelical lists seven well-documented reasons it would be a disaster for Republicans to support Mike Huckabee.

Anyone who's been opposed to John McCain as someone insufficiently conservative must, logically, oppose Huckabee even more strongly. His social conservative credentials are no stronger than McCain's -- and his defense stances are infinitely more naive and weaker.

There's a reason that Susan Estrich, Mike Dukakis' campaign manager and one of the honest liberal commentators out there, calls Huckabee "a Democrat's dream."

Huckabee bashing now claims 4 of the most recent 7 spots. Romney is neck and neck with Huckabee going into the caucuses. Is there anything positive you would like to say about Mitt?

Anyway as a question for further discussion...

In the unlikely event that Governor Huckabee does get the Republican nomination, would you vote for him? The posters at Red State and the Free Republic seem to be split on this issue.
