Please Just Go Away
If the Archbishop of Canterbury believes the story of Christ's birth was mostly a "legend," could he please just step down and permit someone who is an actual believer in the Bible to take over?
Doesn't he have anything better to do than purvey this kind of stuff?

It's been ages since I've posted but I couldn't leave this one alone. Somebody needs to buy this dolt a beer and try to convince him to find another profession.
Cheers.
It wasn't for nothing he became a Druid just before he became Archbishop of Canterbury. It is quite clear that the man does not believe the Christian faith, and it is most unfortunate that he was selected for the position. That is one of the negative aspects of having an established Church, a Church that is a part of the State. He was picked by the Prime Minister and confirmed by the Queen. It was a terrible choice.
Carol, God alone knows what to make of this.

Just read Rowan's interview by the BBC. I think the guy has been a disaster for the Anglican Communion, but BBC did a hit piece on him. Clear that he believes in the Virgin Birth, just that some aspects of the story are myths grown over the century, time of year, etc.
