How to Go After Hillary
Kathleen Parker is 100% right to advise men to go after Hillary Clinton on her policies -- not on her looks. As Parker notes, too many critical observations about Hillary's appearance, figure, etc. carry a slight whiff of misogyny that even females like me -- who oppose her candidacy with every fiber of their beings -- find repugnant.
In fact, I made essentially the same point back in August of '06.

Right you are! There's plenty about Hillary Clinton to not like without going after physical characteristics. Her carpetbagging of a senate seat, her obvious pandering, and her far left politics shrouded in centrist trappings, to name a few. It is a quality of someone with no other argument to attack someone on their looks. The left is renowned for those attacks. We are not electing someone to pose for pictures, but someone to lead. With real ideas and an agenda they can unabashadly put forward.
Why shouldn't women vote for Hillary Clinton only because she's a woman? In fact, why shouldn't anyone vote for any candidate solely because the candidate is the candidate most like the voter? In a representative democracy, we entrust our welfare to others so choosing someone who has the same experiences is a rational choice. It provides at least some assurance the candidate will have the same fundamental outlook and values as the voter.
