Who Can Surrender Fastest?

There's something a little pathetic about the Democrat presidential candidates' competition to see see who can lose the Iraq war the fastest.

His strategy of upping the anti-war ante doesn't speak well for Senator Barack Obama's judgment. Even so, Hillary Clinton is even worse -- because her previous positions have made it clear that she believes it is wrong to support a hasty withdrawal. But with her polls falling, she's willing to go ahead and sign on.

Goes to show that nothing -- absolutely nothing -- is more important in Senator Clinton's eyes than winning the presidency, whatever the cost to US security.

Carol had you been alive during the American Revolution you would have been calling George Washington a cut 'n run coward. Many times he saved his lean and poorly equipped and trained military by redeploying, withdrawing and retreating.

Bush's neocon policy was never winnable. Even if he can get the Shia lead government secure, it will align itself with Iran and that is not a win for the US.

Bush owns this mess and he always will, not the Democrats.

What an idiotic post, Earth!

George Washington never left the country. George Washington never surrendered the fight.

George. Washington. Pressed. On!

Apples and Oranges my friend.

General Washington's sole object was keeping an army in the field. He was dealing with a congress that made our congress look positively efficient, one year enlistments, poorly armed and clothed soldiers and a hostile populace.

In addition, he was fighting the largest and best trained army and navy on the planet.

Apples and oranges

And, ETC, how can you support your statement that the Iraqi government will align with Iran?
