Down to the County?
Hugh Hewitt notes that the outcome of the House may come down to St. Louis County.
At this point, hard to know what that means. St. Louis County is full of Republicans, but many of them are "country club Republicans." On the minus side, it's worrisome that the embryonic stem cell initiative is winning, given that Talent opposed and McCaskill supported. On the plus side, Talent comes from the St. Louis suburbs, and is well-liked there. What's more, the Dems who have done the best in St. Louis County are people like Harriet Woods in 1986, who herself was from St. Louis. Claire McCaskill is not.
