Time to Take a Stand
As Byron York notes, with the Bush and McCain/Graham/Warner compromise, the GOP headaches are over, and the Democratic ones are just beginning.
It's worth pointing out to the American people -- as Republicans no doubt will -- that the Democrats thus far have been willing to abdicate responsibility for participating in one of the most important public debates of the day . . . content to let McCain do the dirty work of hassling the President.
But now, McCain and the President are on the same side. So where will the Democrats be? With the President, on the side of protecting the American people -- or with the ACLU, sharing its obsession with the "dignity" of terrorist detainees?

All of the above, Carol.
Good to see you have a few Hugo Chavez fans following your blog......It's always good to have the moonbats around.
Editor, you sir are a fool. The lady, at her own time and expense, provides an insight into a valid opinion. This opinion, with which you may agree or disagree, is presented for our discussion.
The name calling exposes you for the ingrate that you are.
So disagreeing with the lofty Editor is a sign of psychosis?
May I ask where you got your PhD or MD?
Standing up against American enemies -- Such great Republicans as FDR, Truman, LBJ -- How many did they kill? Oh yes, they were Democrats.
I'll bet we can take up a collection to enable you to move to Venezuala or Cuba where the leaders that you love have control? I'll pick up a part of the tab.
I have no problems with a person disagreeing with me. I feel that when I get into a disussion with a liberal, we both learn. But the constant insults and name calling just shows you to be the ignorant, narcissistic person that you are.
eddy, you're such a tool.
What's not surprising is the level of vitriol from the left regarding anything the Bush admin does. Talk about rubber-stamping! All one need do is speak negatively of the president and you'll get moonbats like eddy the putz joining in the whining. It's quite predictable. It's why even those not satisfied with the current admin or GOP led Congress need to keep voting Republican anyway---to keep the lunatics out of office. It's why local politics is so important to be involved in. The local guys end of on the national stage eventually. In any case, despite her warnings, eddy continues to annoy. That's OK as far as I'm concerned. It's always good to have an idiot lib around as a reminder of what is trying to unseat the adults in our government.
eddy's starting up with that "vulgar" nonsense again. I listed the definitions, he chose the most vile. It must be how he views himself. Figures. Funny how he focuses on that definition. Well eddy, like the saying goes, "you can take it any way you want." I, frankly, don't give a damn. But here's a tip: if you insist on that definition, I suggest you eat yourself.
Sorry Carol.
