The Democratic Hate Machine
I've written before (for example, here and here and here) about the destructive results of the Democrats' hate for President Bush, both for the country and for their party.
Today, this piece in The New York Post makes essentially the same point.
As Craig Charny writes:
In fact, the fury against to Bush has reached unprecedented levels, even compared to the animosity among Republicans to his predecessor. Not long ago, a Washington Post-ABC News poll found that "strong disapproval" of Bush was 10 points higher than that recorded for Bill Clinton at any point during his presidency, including his impeachment. (That wasn't during a war, either.)
Obviously, the public isn't stupid. Americans understand that a party so committed to seeing President Bush fail is willing to see the country fail. And that means that its members hate President Bush more than they love America, and that they care more about their party than about their country -- in wartime, no less.
If the Democrats lose again in 2006, this will be the reason, as it was in 2004.

Americans are winners and love winners. When the failure cannot be recognized, even that "base" which curiously translates in Arabic into al Qaeda, which the right so often seeks to energize will seek more moderate sources of governance.
Listen to yourselves, had there been a war going on that was unpopular with the right during Clinton's time the GOP controlling the House would have howled for his head.
The failure is in the planning of the war and the objects of the attack Iraq not in the fact that 180 million Americans think this war is folly. If the American people supporting a war made the nation's military win all of Europe would be speaking German and there would not be any debate about Israel and Palestine.
D.T.
It is true Americans are winners and love winners. There are no winners in the Democratic Party as they are the party of losers. They are also incompetent. eddy, being incompetent himself, doesn't understand the word. But it is hate, eddy-boy. Pure, irrational hatred for Bush that drives everything you've ever posted. You can prove me wrong by listing those things of which you approve that Bush has done. If you can't come up with any, then you're just a hater.

The bulk of America did not hate Bill Clinton during impeachment. I doubt the majority of Americans hate the current president.
Do the WashingPost and/or ABC report the breakdowns of their polls?
If I had to predict, I'd expect to see that the Democrats are seething in their major strongholds like the Bay Area, Boston and the Washington, DC area. They are hating even more strongly than Republicans did during Clinton's impeachment.
Editor, (dittohead) what do you hope to accomplish with all of your blinding rage and hate?
You're not convincing anyone, just turning them off. Any message you might have is hopeless and lost.
Cliff: Shhh.... don't tell them!
Editor: Don't let Cliff discourage you. The problem is that your message just isn't getting out--it must be that Right-Wing Noise Machine. Either that, or the plummeting fuel prices have people so jazzed that they aren't really paying attention.
Either way, you must SHOUT LOUDER if you hope to heard, man.
Let's be very clear eddy-boy: You have NO credibility here. Don't ever forget that. Your BDS taints everything you post, most of which is off topic and really quite a bore. Your presence only serves as a target for ridicule and mockery. Feel free to keep trying though.
It has been awhile since you had pretended to serve in Viet Nam but your own blogsite proved you were lying.
What in THE HELL are you talking about? Viet Nam, no less?
I've GOT to see the link to whatever you think proves that bit of nonsense.
Nope. Nothing here either.
Carol - I realize you aren't responsible for the moronic rantings of a troll, but could you send me his IP address? I'd like to look into action on a defamation of character front.
