The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has held that prosecutors can, indeed, subpoena the phone records of two New York Times reporters.
How ironic that The New York Times -- an organization that prides itself on its dedication to the principles of a completely free press -- is, through its abuse of that freedom, turning out to be the very vehicle through which the specious theory of a special "journalistic privilege" is quite rightly being repudiated.

that's what causes most of the crappy laws in America, someone pushing the envelope a bit too far, then everyone suffers. Tough, get over it NYT - there are soldiers dying because of the MSMs and leftwing moonbats willingness to support the terrorists.
