Terror Bust

Seven Americans have been arrested as part of a terrorist plot to attack the Sears Tower and a federal building in Miami.

For my part, I'm glad that the Democrats -- obsessed with "domestic wiretapping" and "intrusive" law enforcement -- aren't in charge.

Ditto:

Are these your words or are they a quote from someone else's writings?

"... THE Iraqi Government will announce a sweeping peace plan as early as Sunday in a last-ditch effort to end the Sunni insurgency that has taken the country to the brink of civil war.

But one obstacle is whether the US would be willing to grant an amnesty to insurgents who have killed US soldiers but who are not members of extreme groups such as al-Qaeda. The Bush Administration is thought to be split on the issue.

In Washington, Senate Democrats offered a resolution Thursday demanding that President Bush repudiate the amnesty proposal regarding those who attacked American forces."

But it's ok for us to just pull out of Iraq on a time table? I really can't understand the Dem's thought process...
I guess it's ok not to bring those who attacked American forces to justice as long as you don't admit or agree that that's what you're doing....
Bizarre.

There's a VAST difference between helping Iraq establish itself and then leaving when they are able to take care of themselves and claiming "we can't win" and leaving immediately regardless of the conditions on the ground.

When Iraq can stand on its own with a democratically elected government, then the Bush doctrine has been successful.

Carol, the people arrested can't be terrorists. You you, the President and all the rest of the right wing noise machine assured us that "We are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here."

Yet another broken promise.

CoPioneer what in the world is "you let 'em in" supposed to mean? Are you under the mistaken impression that I work for the DHS or the INS?

Although it wouldn't be the first time you just rambled on incoherently, I'm just curious if this inane statement was supposed to mean something.
