Stranger and Stranger . . .
There are some serious questions about a videotape that purports to show the aftermath of the alleged Haditha massacre.
Again, no one knows what happened. But it's worth pointing out that the only two employees of the "human rights group" that shot the videotape -- and gave it to Time magazine -- have relatives in prison for insurgent activity, according to an attorney for one of the Marines under investigation. What's more, nothing on the videotape identifies it as having been either shot in Haditha, or shot at the time of the alleged massacre.
This isn't to say that nothing happened at Haditha. It is to say that there are many reasons that Americans should be keeping an open mind.

I trust our military.
I trust them to do the job they've been assigned with unprecidented honor and effectiveness.
I trust them to deliver appropriate - harsh - justice if and when crimes are committed.
