Good grief!
Kinda kills your "Fitzgerald is an out-of-control partisan hack" line, doesn't it, Carol? You know, Carol, the talking point you and the right-wing slime machine have tried to paste on Patrick Fitzgerald since before Scooter's indictment?
We know for a fact that Karl Rove revealed the identitity of a covert CIA agent during a time of war as an act of cheap political payback.
We know for a fact that Karl Rove had a convenient lapse of memory on this topic when interviewed by the FBI and in front of the grand jury.
We know for a fact that Karl Rove lied to the American public about this issue, through Scott McClellan and others.
We know for a fact that the President, who publically proclaimed that anyone involved in leaking the identity of a covert CIA agent would no longer be in his administration, lied--because Karl Rove still serves at the pleasure of George W. Bush.
All of that, and unlike the conservative hacks that attempted to destroy the Clinton Presidency on bogus charges and the current crop of conservative hacks that have attempted to slime him personally, Patrick Fitzgerald chose to stand for the rule of law.
Too bad the President and the men who serve at his discretion lack the fundamental integrity of Patrick Fitzgerald.

We know for a fact that Valerie Plame WAS NOT a covert CIA Agent.
We know for a fact that this removes the entire purpose of the investigation.
