Do you just like to post to hear yourself jabber, Jill? What do homophobics have to do with no evidence to indict? What does homophobia have to do with anything on this blog???More mindless blabbering by the left!
Jean, ah.. errr. Jill, "Get back to us?" you act as though this is your home. This is Carol's home, not yours, Carol invited everyone here. Apparently you do not know how to be a good guest.
Kinda kills your "Fitzgerald is an out-of-control partisan hack" line, doesn't it, Carol? You know, Carol, the talking point you and the right-wing slime machine have tried to paste on Patrick Fitzgerald since before Scooter's indictment? We know for a fact that Karl Rove revealed the identitity of a covert CIA agent during a time of war as an act of cheap political payback. We know for a fact that Karl Rove had a convenient lapse of memory on this topic when interviewed by the FBI and in front of the grand jury.We know for a fact that Karl Rove lied to the American public about this issue, through Scott McClellan and others. We know for a fact that the President, who publically proclaimed that anyone involved in leaking the identity of a covert CIA agent would no longer be in his administration, lied--because Karl Rove still serves at the pleasure of George W. Bush. All of that, and unlike the conservative hacks that attempted to destroy the Clinton Presidency on bogus charges and the current crop of conservative hacks that have attempted to slime him personally, Patrick Fitzgerald chose to stand for the rule of law.Too bad the President and the men who serve at his discretion lack the fundamental integrity of Patrick Fitzgerald.
See, that is exactly my point, unless your name is Carol you have no right to tell people to get lost, we were all invited to comment here and I am getting a little fed up with you telling people to leave this blog if they do not agree with you. Frankly you are the one who has a problem with staying on topic. You are the one who uses condescending remarks which have nothing to do with the topic, you are the one who is not obeying the house rules. This is not the daily kos, if you want free reign to defame people perhaps you should venture there, but if you choose to participate here you need to accept that there are other people who are free to post what they want as long as it contributes to the argument. Most of us here have no problem with hearing from the left as long as they keep their arguments on point and have facts to back them up, but so far you have not made one point. No matter the topic you seem to say, "Oh Yah, but what about what Bush did?!" So what. We do not always talk about Bush, if you did not know, he is not running next term, not much to talk about there. If you look in my posts I never told you to get lost because I did not agree with you, most of the time I read your posts and think, "Here's another ranting Bush hater" and I ignore you. If that is the effect you want then fine, but I would think you would want to change people's mind with intelligent arguments instead of insulting comments, apparently you do not.
"This is not the daily kos, if you want free reign to defame people perhaps you should venture there,...""Here's another ranting Bush hater"-and-"I would think you would want to change people's mind with intelligent arguments instead of insulting comments,..."Pot... Kettle... Black.
Amber,I was on topic with every comment, except those few that I replied to when people insulted me. Perhaps you are having a fight with "Jean" but, that is not me.Nothing to do with anything you've written but this site is full of old men with fragile, perhaps damaged egos and of little intelligence. So I won't visit here any more. No one is going to change any set in stone opinions here. Carol is spoon feeding them very mild news and topics so they don't have to think. This in itself doesn't lead to lively discussions or debate.
IF your "facts" were correct, twisted, and, IF Fitzgerald has the integrity you claim, then Rove would have been indicted. Obviously, one or more of your "givens" is incorrect.Care to speculate? Even out of control party hacks can't indict without some kind of law broken, or real "facts" or, something...Surely we can agree that Fitzgerald is not a Ronny Earl, who needed three Grand Juries to get one indictment?
Mr. Twister,Where do you get your facts? We know for a fact that Valerie Plame WAS NOT a covert CIA Agent. We know for a fact that this removes the entire purpose of the investigation.
