The Joys of Being Liberal
Foremost among them is basking in the flattering press coverage of the left-of-center media.
Here, CBS news runs a puff piece about Teddy Kennedy that is so nauseatingly saccharine that it couldn't be any sweeter if the senator's campaign had drafted it.
Teddy Kennedy is -- as everyone knows -- one of the most far left members of the U.S. Senate.
On the day when CBS News runs a piece as positive about a Republican as conservative as Kennedy is liberal, I won't just eat my hat; I'll vote Democratic. Never gonna happen.

You mean a puff-piece like this one?
Don't worry about voting Democratic, Carol. All of us old timers realize that you had no intention of keeping your word.
Dr Faust wrote, " Look what CBS does...."
Nice point, Dr. (are you a medical doctor or a Ph.D.?). The problem with the Bush Administration's coordinated policy of torturing people isn't that torture is inherently bad, it's that CBS news might report on it. Shoot the messenger.
That point right there is worth of a "Carol," an award celebrating the most specious political argument available to support your side/demonize your opponents.
