Repealing the 19th Amendment?
Various impish male friends of mine never miss an opportunity to remind me that, had women not had the vote, Bill Clinton wouldn't have been re-elected. Whatever.
Today, however, Alicia Colon makes an important point: That the earliest feminists were, in fact, pro-life (as Kate O'Beirne also points out in her wonderful book "Women Who Make the World Worse") -- and that the concept of women participating in the electoral process has come to a pretty sad pass when hyperbolic female demagogues are trying to convince others that abortion is simply another form of birth control.
