On the Boycott
Word from downtown is focusing -- more than anything -- on how much better the traffic is because of the boycott.
Not, perhaps, the result the strikers were seeking.

In live in downtown San Diego. Yesterday traffic was substantially lighter, but not a single business I could see closed down. Even the neighborhood supermarket saw as much traffic as it does on any other day.
One of the great non-events in American history.
