Immigration Compromise?
Fox News has just reported that Senate Republicans and Democrats have reached a compromise on immigration reform.
Those here less than 2 years would have to leave the country and begin the process from scratch; those here 2-5 years would need to go to a port of entry and get in line to begin an 11 year process for becoming a citizen; those here more than 5 years could immediately begin the 11 year process for citienship.
Hopefully, it's not significant that the televised report mentioned nothing about enhanced border security.

Voters must keep the screws tightened down on these politicos, lest their “compromise” devolves into an unidentifiable mush.
How would it be determined how long an illegal immigrant had been in this country? What would be done to make sure any documentation is not fraudulent?
