Over at Confirm Them, it's being reported that a request has been sent for Roberts' papers to the Solicitor General's Office.

I can't believe the Dems are going to allow the nuts in thier party to drag them down this road......Bashing Roberts.
For the past 5 years Bush has been leading the Dems around by the nose, and it seems he may have with this pick as well.
They are falling right into a trap of attacking a good man, right in from of the whole world to see.
Let them dig, let them bitch and cry, and let them filibuster..........At the end of the day, Roberts will be confirmed, and the Dems will come off looking like the fools they are.

As you graduated from the rarified air of Harvard, could you post sometime on the "famous" law folks you know and what you thought of them at the time? I know you won't do a hit piece; I'm looking for your recalled observations before the next big nominee is made. That way, when they get the nod for the next big promotion, you will have already "blognosticated" on them. Did I just coin another blog derivation? Hope so!
