The Heavy Hand of Democrats
Given Democrats' tender concern for the feelings and the rights of terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, it's a bit surprising that they're so willing to use their governmental power to bully and intimidate law abdiding talk radio show hosts whose only "crime" is exercising their First Amendment rights.
But they are. Congressman Henry Waxman is spending taxpayer money for his committee to compile reports on popular (conservative) talk radio show hosts. So much for doing "the people's" business -- unless, that is, "the people" are exclusively liberal.

Just recently, a number of rightwing talk show hosts met with George Bush in the Oval Office. Why? Were they coordinating their commentary with the Bush Administration? Why weren't any leftwing talk show hosts invited?
Those talk show hosts are using public resources so Waxman is doing his job when he acts to ensure those public resouces are being used for the whole public's benefit.
Joe Steel, It is NOT waxman's job, or anyone elses, to monitor and censor free speech!!!!
Waxman isn't censoring free speech. He's ensuring appropriate use of the People's property. That IS his job as chair of the goverment oversight committee
