Will Fitzgerald Prosecute?
My former boss, Senator Kit Bond of Missouri, has demonstrated that Valerie Plame has offered strikingly different accounts of how her husband, Joe Wilson, was sent to Niger.
Assuming that these various accounts were offered under oath, will prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald prosecute -- or is he content to stick with going after the Bush administration?

Valerie's testimony to Congress seems to explain things. One would think the principled Bond would be more concerned with Cheney's and Rove's roll in outing a covert agent. And why the clowns still have security clearance.
Earth to Carol, you obviously didn't pay ANY attention to the trial or of any of the other facts that have come out concerning this farce! For example, didn't you hear the latest, that it was Richard Armatadge who first used the name of, "Plame?" Second, no one EVER proved or admitted that,"Miss Plame" was covert!!!!
Did that fact escape you, or what?
Even Plame herself said that she didn't know. You will get a lot further in life if you stop filtering, "facts" and pay attention before making a fool of yourself in public.
Hayden, Director of CIA said her status was covert. Next?
Hey Cliff - We all have our hobbies
Not so fast. The terms "covert" and "undercover" are often used interchangeably, but in a non-legal context. In any case, General Hayden (who just assumed leadership of the CIA) isn't the one who makes these determinations -- it's a matter of statute. And the statute's author, Victoria Toensing, has repeatedly noted that Plame doesn't fall within the definition of "covert." See http://justoneminute.typepad.com/main/2007/03/novak_hayden_wo.html
Victoria Toensing ignored what the statute actually says. Valarie Plame fell into the statue on several sections.
Let's try a little honesty with the facts otherwise this is a meaningless site.
But Carol, that's a fact, and facts are irrelevant when assigning blame to Bush or any member of his administration.
Facts are facts. The Bushies obviously find the truth inconvenient.
